Welcome
Welcome to the Maps research guide!
The Libraries has thousands of maps and atlases of all types, including physical, political, and thematic. Most maps in the map collection are published by the United States Government, and are received through the Federal Depository Library Program.
Map cases containing large maps are located in the Libraries' storage annex; other maps and atlases are shelved elsewhere in the library.
If you have any questions when using the library or library website, please contact the librarians at the Reference Desk in person, by phone at (701) 231-8886, or by using the "Ask Us" instant message service box found in the right column of this page.
My contact information can be found in the right column of this page. You can request an appointment for an individual research consultation, or call or e-mail a quick question about the Libraries' research resources and services.
The library has a huge range of information resources -- available to you on campus, at home and at work -- that will help you with your studies. I look forward to working with you this semester and throughout your time at NDSU.
