Welcome to the Maps research guide!

The Libraries has thousands of maps and atlases of all types, including physical, political, and thematic. Most maps in the map collection are published by the United States Government, and are received through the Federal Depository Library Program.

Map cases containing large maps are located in the Libraries' storage annex; other maps and atlases are shelved elsewhere in the library.

If you have any questions when using the library or library website, please contact the librarians at the Reference Desk in person, by phone at (701) 231-8886, or by using the chat at the bottom of the screen.
