Welcome
Welcome to the Law & Legal Resources research guide! The purpose of this guide is to help you become familiar with the basics of law and some legal resources. The tabs on top will lead you to books, journal articles, relevant websites, news, and more.
Many legal resources produced by government agencies at all levels are now available on the Internet. The NDSU Libraries' print collection includes only a few basic legal reference books. Other libraries in the area such as the University of North Dakota Thormodsgard Law Library and Minnesota State University Moorhead Livingston Lord Library have far-more complete collections for legal research.
If you have any questions when using the library or library website, please contact the librarians at the Reference Desk in person, by phone at (701) 231-8886, or by using the "Ask Us" instant message service box found in the right column of this page.
My contact information can be found in the right column of this page. You can request an appointment for an individual research consultation, or call or e-mail a quick question about the Libraries' research resources and services.
The library has a huge range of information resources -- available to you on campus, at home and at work -- that will help you with your studies. I look forward to working with you this semester and throughout your time at NDSU.
